Jonathan Kernion

President and CEO

Jonathan Kernion is a shareholder and one of the founders of Cycle Construction, LLC.

As president and chief executive officer, Jonathan leads the strategic direction of the business, while focusing on overall management, governmental relations, financing activities, and business development.

Jonathan has received numerous construction awards throughout his career, and has served on several prestigious industry boards. He was Past-President of the Mississippi Valley Associated General Contractors, Board Member of the Louisiana Associated General Contractors, Past Board Member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Coast Builders Coalition.

In 2016, Jonathan received the St. Elizabeth Guild Volunteer Activist of the Year award for his charitable work in the local community. He has also actively served the community as Past Chairman of the Boys and Girls Club of South East Louisiana and the Covington Boys and Girls Club.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Jonathan attended Brother Martin High School, the University of New Orleans and Tulane University where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration. He currently resides in Covington, LA.

Nathan Kernion is a shareholder and has served as Cycle’s executive vice president and chief operating officer since 2000. He is directly responsible for overseeing business operations for Cycle, including estimating, pre-construction, construction management, field operations, equipment and facilities.

Nathan is actively involved in numerous industry organizations, including Mississippi Valley Associated General Contractors, Louisiana Associated General Contractors, Past Board Member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, and Past Board Member of the Coast Builders Coalition.

A lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA, Nathan attended Brother Martin High School, the University of Southern Mississippi, Southeastern Louisiana University and Tulane University where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration.

Kevin Kernion

Kevin Kernion is a shareholder and has served as executive vice president and chief administrative officer since 2000. He oversees the administrative functions of the organization, including safety, human resources, information technology, office administration, legal and risk management, company culture, and marketing.

Kevin was born and raised in New Orleans and currently resides in Metairie, LA. He attended Brother Martin High School, Southeastern Louisiana University and Tulane University, where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration. Kevin is a former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He is actively involved in the Mississippi Valley Associated General Contractors and the Louisiana Associated General Contractors.

Spencer Voss

Spencer Voss has been a member of the Cycle Construction team since May of 2016.  As controller, he is responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting department as well as all internal and external financial matters.


Spencer is a Certified Public Accountant and is an active member of the CFMA, AICPA, and LCPA.  Prior to joining Cycle, he worked in both public and industry accounting.


Spencer was born in Houma, LA and has resided in New Orleans since June of 2010.  He attended Louisiana State University where he received his bachelor’s and masters’ degree in accounting.

Mitchell Roth

Project Executive

Mitchell Roth is responsible for managing the estimators and project managers assigned to his projects, from pre-construction through project management and close out.  He oversees all phases of his projects including estimating, material procurement, scheduling, subcontractor management, budget control, and overall operations.  He has estimated and served as project manager on numerous civil construction projects since joining Cycle in 2012.


 

Mitchell was raised in New Orleans, LA and Natchez, MS before moving to Baton Rouge for college. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in construction management.  After graduating, he gained valuable experience working on industrial, military, and federal government contracts before joining the Cycle team. Mitchell resides in Metairie with his wife and two children.

Lionel Beebe

Lionel Beebe

Equipment / Facilities Manager

As a member of the Cycle team since 2001, Lionel Beebe is responsible for overseeing equipment and repair services for Cycle’s fleet and facilities. He has a long history working for the Kernion family, dating back to the early 1980’s.  Lionel originally worked with Jonathan Kernion at Kernion Equipment Company.  When Jonathan founded Cycle, Inc. (the landfill company), Lionel was hired as onsite manager for all three C&D landfill facilities. As a valued employee, Lionel was called upon for another key role when Cycle Construction, LLC, was founded.


 

Lionel is lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, where he resides with his wife and son.

Nicole Moore

Nicole Moore

Human Resource Administrator

Nicole Moore is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions, including recruitment and compliance. She is responsible for employee relations, administering benefit plans, managing onboarding process for new hires, and guiding employees regarding Cycle policies and procedures.


 

Nicole was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and currently resides in New Orleans.  She attended St. Joseph’s Academy High School and Louisiana State University where she earned degrees in both Psychology and Business Administration. Nicole has worked in various human resource roles within the construction industry and is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
